On behalf of Nissan, I offer our deepest condolences on the passing of former Mitsubishi Motors chairman Osamu Masuko.
After he became president in 2005, Masuko-san devoted himself to leading and growing the company for 15 years. He also contributed great things to the Japanese automotive industry.
He played an instrumental role in the negotiations with Nissan that led to Mitsubishi Motors joining the Alliance in 2016.
His wisdom and foresight will remain as an inspiration to the automotive industry, and we will always honor his memory.
