Temporary suspension of Nissan Ariya B6 (2WD) and Fairlady Z orders in Japan

The ongoing global impact of the semiconductor shortage and the novel coronavirus pandemic have greatly hampered logistics. This and the disorder in global supply chains caused by unstable world conditions is significantly limiting vehicle supply. Nissan is continuing to put all its effort into finding solutions to these issues.

In Japan, since sales of the Ariya B6 (2WD) started we have received many orders, however the time until delivery has become markedly longer. We expect the waiting period to become significantly longer due to the coming B6 e-4ORCE and B9 limited edition models, for which we have already received a large number of orders. The situation is the same for the Fairlady Z, for which a large number of orders have been received and the waiting period until delivery is expected to become longer.

To properly enable delivery of the Ariya and Fairlady Z to all customers who have placed an order in Japan, we will temporarily suspend orders in Japan of the two models (Ariya B6 (2WD) and Fairlady Z) at the end of July.

We greatly regret the inconvenience this will cause our valued customers in Japan. At a later time we will provide an update on the resumption of orders.
