Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and its employees express their sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to those lost and affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
To help support the affected regions and people, Nissan will provide support equivalent to 50 million yen, including financial aid and relief supplies.
A total of 30 million yen will be donated to Japan Platform, a specified non-profit organization. This includes the amount to be made available by Nissan to match donations from its employees who want to help directly.
Nissan is also offering various forms of support in cooperation with its dealerships and automotive parts suppliers. Such activities include provision of relief supplies such as in-vehicle emergency kits, disposable latrines, and blankets, as well as the free-of-charge lending of Nissan Ariya and Nissan LEAF all-electric vehicles and portable battery packs to evacuation centers as power sources.
Nissan will continue to provide support that matches the needs of the affected areas and sincerely wishes for the earliest possible recovery.
