Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the following senior management changes effective October 1, 2026.
Julian Krell, vice president (VP), Investor Relations, has elected to leave Nissan to pursue outside opportunities, effective December 31, 2026. During his tenure, Krell played an important role in strengthening Nissan's engagement with investors, analysts and rating agencies. Nissan extends its sincere appreciation for his contributions and dedication. Effective October 1, 2026, Krell will serve as Investor Relations Advisor to the CFO to support a seamless transition of responsibilities through his departure.
Kazuta Amemiya, currently vice president, Monozukuri, R&D & Capex Control, will assume a concurrent role as Head of Investor Relations effective October 1, 2026. In addition to his current responsibilities, Amemiya will lead Nissan's Investor Relations function and continue engagement with investors, analysts and other stakeholders. He brings deep finance expertise and a strong understanding of Nissan's business, having held a range of leadership positions across the company, including Investor Relations. He will report directly to George Leondis, Chief Financial Officer.
Krell and Amemiya will work closely together through December 2026 to ensure continuity and ongoing engagement with the stakeholders.
