YOKOHAMA, Japan – INFINITI has announced the debut of the all-new QX65, a bold and sporty fastback blending dramatic styling, advances technologies and rewarding performance. Inspired by the iconic INFINITI FX, the QX65 represents the next chapter of the brand, expressing confident artistry, a meticulously crafted interior and an engaging driving experience.
The all-new 2027 INFINITI QX65 is scheduled to arrive at U.S. retailers in early summer 2026.
Bold, sporty design rooted in INFINITI heritage
The all-new QX65 is a striking evolution of INFINITI’s Artistry in Motion design language. Its dramatic, arched roofline and wide, athletic stance create a powerful presence.
The flowing roofline leads the eye toward a crisp rear spoiler, giving the QX65 a dynamic fastback profile. Precisely sculpted body lines and clean tapering glass surfaces contribute to a refined yet sporty character.
At the front, a bold three-dimensional grille inspired by Japan’s bamboo forests is paired with the signature INFINITI digital piano key headlamps, emphasizing width and presence. The full-width LED tail lamp with three-dimensional impression take inspiration from the vertical fins of an aircraft for an unmistakable signature look.
A standout new exterior color, Sunfire Red, features genuine gold-coated glass flecks. Applied through a complex three-layer coating process, the finish shimmers with depth and brilliance.

At the heart of the QX65 is INFINITI’s innovative Variable Compression Turbo (VC‑Turbo) engine, delivering responsive acceleration and confident torque. The VC‑Turbo was the world’s first production variable compression powertrain and reflects INFINITI’s long-standing commitment to advanced engineering.
Paired with a 9‑speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters, the powertrain is tuned to deliver sharpened responses and a more engaging driving feel. It has been specifically tuned with a sportier, more aggressive shift schedule that makes the luxury SUV feel more eager to accelerate, resulting in decisive off-the-line performance.
