Nissan Group announced total U.S. sales for August 2019 of 127,230 units, an increase of 13.2% compared to the prior year. Nissan highlights: Kicks SUV sales were 7,058 units, up 82% to achieve an August record; and Rogue SUV sales were 41,629 units, up 25% to achieve an August record. INFINITI reported U.S. sales of 9,185 vehicles in August. The QX60 seven-passenger crossover was up 22% to 3,495 for the month and 4% to 29,190 for the year.
In Canada, the Nissan Group announced total sales of 12,238 units in August 2019, a decrease of 8.3% from 2018. The Nissan pision sold 11,226 units in August. The INFINITI pision reported total Canadian sales of 1,012 units in August.
In China, Nissan continued its growth momentum for overall operations in August and the January-August period, led by strong sales at Dongfeng Nissan, amid sluggish market demand that has lingered for the past 13 months.
