Nissan LEAF named best buy among electric vehicles in Brazil

Quatro Rodas magazine applauds the all-electric model for its spaciousness, cargo capability and advanced technology
Nissan LEAF named best buy among electric vehicles in Brazil

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Since its debut in 2010, the all-electric Nissan LEAF has continued to turn heads and garner accolades. Brazilian publication Quatro Rodas recently chose the Nissan LEAF as its Best Purchase Among Electric Cars up to 300,000 Reais.

Launched in Brazil in 2019, the Nissan LEAF’s cabin space, cargo capacity and impressive driver-assistance technology are just some of the features that the publication highlighted. Quatro Rodas also noted that an increase in the number of LEAF dealers — from seven to 44 — is a big plus when it comes to aftersales services.

The more than 500,000 LEAFS that have been sold worldwide have been driven over an estimated 18 billion pollution-free kilometers — preventing more than 3 billion kg of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere1.

The Nissan LEAF continues to be an EV icon, winning customers’ hearts and honors the world over, including 2011 World Car of the Year, 2011 European Car of The Year, 2011-2012 Car of The Year Japan, and the 2018 UK Best Electric Car and Australia Green Innovation awards.

A pioneer in electrified vehicles

A decade after the LEAF became the world’s first mass-market EV, Nissan is launching the all-new Nissan Ariya in Japan this winter. Nissan will continue to expand the joy of electric driving with a plan to sell 1 million electrified vehicles annually by the end of fiscal year 2023, including EVs and e-POWER cars.

Nissan aims to take people to a better world through ever greater autonomy, electrification and connectivity.
