YOKOHAMA, Japan ‐ Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today, announced production, sales, and export figures for July 2026.
Sales in key markets continue to grow, in Japan sales increased by 3.6%, where customer interest in recently launched Kicks and Elgrand is helping regain sales momentum. In the U.S., sales increased by 2.3%, where focus on the localization strategy and products such as the Nissan Rogue continued to contribute. In China, overall market environment remains challenging, but Nissan is steadily advancing its transition toward New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) expanding its portfolio with models such as the new NX8. Through these efforts, Nissan remains focused on improving competitiveness and creating a stronger foundation for future growth.
Overall, global sales volume for July was 219,495 units, down 16.5% year-on-year, while global production volume was 188,130 units, down 15.5% year-on-year. Additionally, the number of units exported from Japan was 31,222, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year.
