In China, Nissan continued to outperform the market in September and the January-September period, amid worsening, sluggish automotive demand that has lingered for the past 14 months.
In the U.S., Nissan Group announced total sales for September 2019 of 101,244 units, a decrease of 17.6% compared to the prior year. Nissan highlights include: Kicks SUV sales set a September record with 4,177 units, up 19%; and Murano sales rose to 8,460 units, up 3% to achieve a September record.
In Canada, the Nissan Group announced total sales of 11,527 units for September 2019, a decrease of 13.8% from 2018. The Nissan Division recorded 10,376 vehicles sold in September. The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 1,151 units sold in September.
