YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan has begun airing a new TV commercial starring Japanese actor and singer Takuya Kimura and the all-new Nissan Ariya electric SUV.

Shown only in Japan, the commercial is the second featuring Kimura, Nissan’s latest brand ambassador. In the ad, Kimura shows the convenience and excitement of the Ariya’s advanced technologies including the ProPILOT 2.0 advanced driver assistance system and ProPILOT Remote Park.
Unveiled in July this year, the 100% electric Ariya offers customers powerful acceleration, a spacious cabin, bold new EV design that seamlessly integrates Nissan’s latest advanced technologies, and an estimated range of up to 610 kilometers1.
The commercial shows Kimura unplugging his Ariya from a charger before using the ProPILOT Remote Park system to summon the car. Once inside, he drives the Ariya using ProPILOT 2.0, which offers hands-off driving capability when cruising in a single lane.
Designed for the electric and autonomous age, the all-new Ariya is leading the way as Nissan rolls out more new, technologically advanced models under its Nissan Next transformation plan.
