HUADU, China – Nissan chief performance officer and chairman of Nissan China José Muñoz recently visited and experienced the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Camp in Guangzhou, China.
Nissan Intelligent Mobility Camp – which was launched last month in Huadu, home to Dongfeng Nissan and Dongfeng Venucia – is the largest intelligent technology center in the industry. It allows visitors to learn about Nissan Intelligent Mobility and to experience some of the technologies that make it a reality today.
"This technology center is an innovative and imaginative way of bringing Nissan Intelligent Mobility to life here in China," said Muñoz. "It gives visitors a close-up view of some of the advanced technologies that Nissan is delivering to the China market to move people to a better world through Nissan Intelligent Mobility."
There are three themed experience zones in the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Camp: the Hall of Intelligent Mobility Life, the Hall of the Future City and the Sylphy Zero Emission Test Drive Area. With a total area of 11,000 m2, the Camp showcases the heritage, present and future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility through technology exploration, interactive experiences and test drives.
"China is one of the most exciting and dynamic markets in the world, especially when it comes to EVs," said Muñoz. "The test drive of the Sylphy Zero Emission is so impressive. I believe that its good performance will support our ambitious plan to be the number one EV automaker in China."
Nissan Intelligent Mobility Camp will last till the end of November. An estimated 18,000-plus visitors – including dealers, employees, stakeholders, vendors, government bodies, media and the public – will experience the event.
