YOKOHAMA (July 26, 2010) - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that domestic orders for the all-new Nissan March have greatly exceeded company expectations. Introduced on July 13th, March orders reached 12,147 units as of July 25, roughly two weeks after its launch. This represents more than three times the monthly target of 4,000 units.

The new March is highly valued by a wide range of customers with its best-in-class fuel economy of 26.0km/L achieved by the adoption of a newly-developed Idling Stop System, superior drivability, user-friendly features, as well as its affordable price.
Grades 12X (2WD) and 12G (2WD) equipped with Idling Stop account for about 84% of the total orders.
