Strong Demand Continues for All-new March and Elgrand

YOKOHAMA (Sep. 3, 2010) - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that domestic orders for the all-new March launched on July 13, and the all-new Elgrand launched on August 4, have greatly exceeded sales projections, with March orders exceeding 20,000 units and Elgrand orders exceeding 10,000 units. The following are details of orders:

March :
Launch: July 13 Monthly sales target: 4,000 units
Total orders: 20,011units (as of September 1)
(Reached 20,000 units in one and a half months after the launch, five times greater than monthly target)

Elgrand : Launch: August 4, (Start of sales: August 18), Monthly sales target: 1,900 units
Total orders: 10,111 units (as of September 1)
(Reached 10,000 units, roughly one month after launch <two weeks after start of sales>, more than five times the monthly target)
