March Nismo "Nismo S"

In January 2013, the Juke Nismo was released as the first model in Nismo's new brand strategy that emphasizes premium high-performance sports vehicles. The Fairlady Z Nismo and March Nismo will join the Juke Nismo as the second and third models, respectively, in the revitalized Nismo stable. The Fairlady Nismo and March Nismo feature exclusive styling that embraces the longstanding racing philosophy of form following function. Both models have numerous motorsports-inspired technologies injected into the car's aerodynamics, suspension and powertrain, creating a well-balanced machine that is at home on both the road and track.

Building on the original Fairlady Z's high level of driving performance, the Fairlady Z Nismo enhances the popular sports car's dynamics by way of new aero parts with improved aerodynamics. As a result, Nismo has created a sports car with better performance and instant gratification behind the steering wheel. Engine output has been increased, thanks to a special dual exhaust system with equal-length exhaust manifolds and a new ECM (tuning computer). Visually, the car's exterior and interior design have been executed with the same Nismo spirit that has defined the brand for decades, highlighted by a unique paint scheme for the exterior, and an Alcantara®-covered steering wheel (with red stitching and a red center position mark) and red tachometer with the ‘nismo' logo inside the sheet metal.

Highlights of the Fairlady Z Nismo include:

  • Custom exterior and interior enhancements with motorsports-inspired technology and a design motif embodying the Nismo spirit.
  • Enhanced sporty driving experience thanks to improved aerodynamics and increased engine output.
  • Better cornering performance with excellent stability by way of a custom-tuned suspension system, sportier tires, increased body rigidity, upgraded brakes and a specially-tuned powertrain.
